Where he is? What is Mark up to?

In September 2006, Sky and I went to a friends wedding in Holland. We attended the reception in the country side and it was there that I took this image of three of his beautiful nieces. They had been so well behaved all day that they just wanted to break loose and be crazy kids again, this was that moment, I love it.

O.K. everything I ever said about England being just cold, wet and miserable I take back. Spending this time in Kent in Canturbury this summer has been a breath of fresh air.

Goodbye Senegal but not farewell

With a heavy heart I say goodbye to Africa. It has most certainly been one of the most incredible experiences of my life. There was hard work, toil and tears but amongst all laughter!

“If I know a song of Africa, of the giraffe and the African new moon lying on her back, of the plows in the fields and the sweaty faces of the coffee pickers, does Africa know a song of me? Will the air over the plain quiver with a color that I have had on, or the children invent a game in which my name is, or the full moon throw a shadow over the gravel of the drive that was like me, or will the eagles of the Ngong Hills look out for me?”
